As the above shows our starting prices, if we find anything during the service that needs further attention (a worn part, a damaged seal, something that isn’t quite right), we will always talk you through it and get your go ahead before doing anything extra.
Gas Fire Servicing From £95
If your gas fire hasn’t been looked at in a while, a service is worth booking sooner rather than later.
Gas fires need to be serviced ideally every year, not just to keep them running well, but also to make sure they are safe to use.
During your gas fire service, our HETAS and Gas Safe engineers will check everything properly. We’ll check:
- Gas pressure and flow
- The burners
- All safety devices
- The flue
We’ll also clean what needs cleaning and flag anything that could become a problem.
Log Burner and Wood Burning Stove Servicing From £110
Log burners and wood burning stoves are brilliant appliances when they’re working well. But they do need attention to stay that way. So if yours has started smoking back into the room, not staying lit or not giving off as much heat as it used to, then a service will usually get to the bottom of it.
Our stove services cover:
- full internal cleaning
- A complete check of the flue and chimney
- Inspection of all seals and ropes
- Testing the airflow and draw
The same checks apply to whether you have a wood burner or a multi-fuel stove as they all benefit from an annual servicing.
Chimney Sweeping From £95
If you’re having your fire serviced then it makes sense to get the chimney swept at the same time. We offer a combined chimney sweep and service from £185, and most customers find this the best option for them.
If it’s not been long since you had your fire serviced and you just need a sweep on its own, our prices start at £95 for that service.
